Raising awareness and reinforcing student commitment towards a drug-free campus and society.
On June 26, observed globally as the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, ETCES College for Advanced Studies, Manjeri, joined the collective effort to raise awareness about the growing threat of substance abuse among youth.
Drug addiction continues to be a serious concern affecting individuals, families, and society at large. The increasing influence of drug networks targeting young minds makes it essential for educational institutions to take an active role in awareness and prevention.

As part of this initiative, an Anti-Drug Abuse Pledge program was organized under the guidance of the Department of Higher Education. The pledge, led by Hon’ble Minister for Higher Education, Dr. R. Bindu, emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in building a drug-free society.
Students of ETCES actively participated in the online pledge program, demonstrating their awareness, responsibility, and commitment toward creating a healthier and safer future. Their participation reflects a strong stand against substance abuse and a conscious effort to promote positive societal change.
ETCES believes that awareness and education are key to prevention. Through such initiatives, the institution continues to encourage students to make informed decisions, uphold strong values, and contribute to a drug-free environment.
Let us move forward together with a shared commitment to eliminate substance abuse and build a better, safer society for future generations.
